We are rewriting this event again! NEW this year the day will include the following:
Cross country 5 K and shorter kids run
Approximately a 20 mile Bicycle ride
Cross Fit Event (Ashley's "W.O.D.")
Motorcycle (or any street legal vehicle) Poker Run
Vintage Motorcycle display/ride
There are many new aspects to this event in 2013 and more information will be coming. There are a lot of new volunteers contributing their time and effort. Here is an approximate agenda for the day. It is subject to change so please call or check back again if it affects your plans. Updates will be made please do not assume if you read it in April or May it will be exactly the same in June. Please arrive early for your event or area of interest especially for the 5K which has a definitive start time. Motorcycles....not so much, route will be posted and you can judge the timing. 7:30 am 5K registration opens
8:00 am flag raising ceremony
9:00 am Kids Run
9:15 5K start
9:00 am Bicycle and Motorcycle registration opens
9:30 am Cross fit Registration opens
10:00 am First Motorcycles out on route
10:15 am First Bicycles out on route
11:00 am Cross event begins
3:00 pm "Retiring" the flag of the day replace with Ashley's flag and Gold Star families ceremony.
3:30-6:00 pm live music and just general hanging out and reflecting on the day.
7:30-9:30 Maize Valley's weekend entertainment in pavilion

There will be a Hog Roast or other meal included with the registration for the motorcycle and bicycle event portion. This meal will also be available for separate purchase also depending upon availability as first preference will be giving to registered participants of event schedule. Pricing will reflect cost of meal as well as a donation portion that goes towards the events charities.
Food and beverage separate from above mentioned meal will be available to purchase off of Maize Valley's menu throughout the day. Historical military displays provided by the Marlboro Volunteers will be on site as well as support and service providers such as the Red cross, USO and Blue Star to name a few.
This event benefits the scholarship fund set up at
Marlington High School for 1st Lt. Ashley White- Stumpf, KIA Afganistan
in 2011 and the Greater Cleveland Fisher House.
