Campfires at Maize Valley

Campfire sites may be reserved in advance for an afternoon (12 - 5 p.m.) or an evening (5 - 10 p.m.) for all types of groups. We supply the wood, trash receptacle, and bales of straw to sit on, you bring your friends and enjoy. We will light the fire for you. We offer a variety of food options - please see below. No vehicles are permitted beyond the admissions gate. You are welcome to bring a wagon and lawn chairs if you wish.

Campfire Event Information

• Cost - $50
• Advance payment for the campfire is necessary to secure the reservation.
• Your group may arrive prior to your scheduled fire time if you wish and may visit all of Maize Valley’s Farm Fun areas - your fire will be available at your scheduled time.
• If your group is paying with one check, please provide an alphabetized list for the admissions building/check in area.
• If weather conditions are poor, your group may call to reschedule or cancel without any obligation.

• Must be ordered in advance.
• If you are having a campfire - you are permitted to bring your own food for around the campfire - no vehicles are permitted beyond the gate.
• Maize Valley also offers a variety of food packages to make it easier on you, the host.

Food Packages

Hot Dog Roast Box - $50

• Delivered to your fire.
• Includes hot dogs (2 per person), buns, napkins, condiments, chips, roasting sticks & cans of pop.
• Enough in the box to serve 20 people.
• Each additional person - add $2.50.
• The following items may be addedto the Hot Dog Roast Box:

Baked Beans - $1.50 pp
Cookies - $4.50 / dozen
Mac/Pot Salad - $1.50 pp
Roasted Peanuts - $1.75 / pound
Chips - $.50 / bag

S’mores Box - $20

• Delivered to your fire.
• Includes everything you need to make s’mores over your campfire. Roasting sticks, marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers.
• Enough to serve 20 people.
