School Tours

Maize Valley offers an educational school tour that appeals to teachers, parents and kids.  With over 100 acres in one block, we are able to show the students a great variety of different types of agricultural enterprises.

All students, teachers, and chaperones receive a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch where the students get to pick a pumpkin to take home, time to visit and feed the animals, a chance to navigate thru the corn maze, and the opportunity to play in our kids play area.  We have covered areas to eat lunch or a snack that you bring (can be provided for you if you wish), and have both indoor and outdoor restroom facilities.

Admission is $5 per student, teachers are FREE, Parents/chaperones and siblings are welcome and encouraged to attend (1 chaperone per 5 students is free, after that the chaperone price is $2.50, the sibling price is $5 for ages 2 and up).

This is a partially guided tour, we ask that you supervise your students at all times.  Most schools spend 2-3 hours total time at Maize Valley, we can adjust the tour length to accomodate your needs.

If time allows, your children are permitted to shop our market for gift items, snacks, and other beverages.
