NEW for 2012! Proceeds from this event (after we pay 4 the food and band etc. any help appreciated) Go to the scholarship fund set up at Marlington High School for 1st Lt. Ashley White Stumph, KIA Afganistan in 2011 , and the Wounded Warrior Project. (pls c details at bottom of page via link)


In 2011 this was a NEW event at Maize Valley which included not only vintage motorcycles, but also some really cool military displays. This year the proceeds are going to a local officer who was KIA this past fall.

Registration for road rally opens at 9:30am bikes may leave as they please with a group set to leave approx. at 10:00. Details for 2012 are still in the works but we expect much of the same.

Arriving later will be the Marlboro Volunteers traveling history museum which depicts USA military life thru the years.

Also on hand will be the Army sponsored race car team - both dragster and funny cars. Marlboro Fire Department will display at least two fire trucks, with possible participation from nearby departments depending upon need. The Blue Star Mothers and USO will also be on hand as will Pegasus Farms.



Road Rally!

Cost for Rally participants is $20.00 per person for ride and meal. $15.00 for meal only.


(Route begins at Maize Valley Winery– North Georgetown, Lisbon’s Steel Trolley Diner– Salineville, Carrollton, scenic Atwater Lake region– returning to Maize Valley Winery)


Registration starts at 9:30. We will leave with a group 10:00 am! You do not have to leave with the group if you don't care for "group riding" We Understand! Once you are registered, head out if you like.

It's a fairly long senic route with some things to find and see along the way, enjoy the ride. If you have not ridden in this neck of the woods it's pretty cool.

Rally details, pick your option. We are offering two ways to do this.

First is more of a traditional "Rally" bikes head out sorta poker run style and travel to a number of locations along the route using a map and travel sheet. Enter location and discover clue to record or activity to do. Bring sheet back to be entered in drawing for gift card.

Second is what we call Maize Valley's "Geo-Pic"

Use your GPS to locate 10 sites along the 100+ mile route. Click on link above to learn more about this new rally option!

All bikes welcome just bikes pre 1985 will fall into the "Vintage" catagory.

If you do not wish to participate in the Rally ride or hog roast meal and just want to take in the event and sights there is no charge. Other food and beverages are avaliable for sale in the market. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
