Our vintnerís dinners started in 2010 and are held the third Thursday of every month. The dinner features new wines, new food and new friends. The five course meal is a culinary adventure that pairs Maize Valley wines with delicious, homegrown, local foods. Yes - we have crops that are harvested in the winter. Each course is accompanied by a Maize Valley wine.
This is your opportunity to learn a little more about the wine-making process, to taste and explore new wines and learn how they complement and enhance the foods they are paired with. What a wonderful setting to make new friends.
All of the courses are prepared by the Maize Valley Kitchen Staff and are selected to compliment and enhance the Maize Valley wines that they are served with. Often, Maize Valley will release new wines or new vintages at the vintner's dinner allowing guests to be the first to taste these wines.
Guests are seated at one long table family style so that they may visit with old and new friends. Typically the winemaker is on hand to provide vineyard and winery updates and answer any questions guest may have.
Reservations and advance payments are necessary for this event - the base cost for this five course meal and all corresponding wines is $40 per person including tax and gratuity.
